Fenwicks/SpaceNK/Boots Beauty Haul

Those of you who've followed me since I first started this blog will know I have quite an expensive obsession with buying beauty products that I don't need on a monthly basis. So here we are again with a totally unnecessary haul!.

I went all out with beauty products this month as my beauty wishlist has just been building up over the past few months and there's no good in this items just sitting in my notes when they could be in my make up boxes instead!. I also finally bought myself a make up bag big enough to fit everything in for when I travel about!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

I'm pretty late with this palette as pretty much 99% of the population own some form of Urban Decay palette. I've only embraced eyeshadow over the past 4 months so never bothered. I don't know why because I'm already in love with their shimmer colours especially Half Baked (which is the main reason I purchased this).

Left: Bobbi Brown Corrector
Right: Bobbi Brown Concealor/Powder Duo

I also welcomed my first every Bobbi Brown products that weren't bought from Ebay!. I origionally went in just for the corrector as my dark circles have been getting worse and worse however I couldn't resist the Concealor/Powder duo after trying it on over the top. I've also slipped into getting an appointment for a foundation consultancy next month which can only lead me to buying more foundations I do not need, oops!

Left: Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Colour in Oleander
Right: Estee Lauder Raisins Duo

Another first product for me was this blush as I've never purchased anything from Laura Mercier before mainly because I've never come across any of their counters in the North East before!. This is the perfect baby pink shade and I can't wait to wear it when Summer finally arrives (if that ever does happen).

I can't begin to describe just how frustrating my quest to find this Estee Lauder Duo was, I searched around Sunderland and Newcastle to find it and was told everytime I went in that they were either sold out or STILL hadn't had any back in. However last sunday on a trip to Durham I finally picked up Boots' last one and it's absolutely stunning!.

Above: Mac Paint Pot in Chilled On Ice
Below: Mac 217 Blender Brush

God knows why it took me so long to pick up either of these products as I've been meaning to for the past year and on my (very busy) trip to Mac I finally picked them up and they're both as gorgeous as I could of imagined!. I especially love this shade of paint pot because it's so springy, shimmery and wearable!.

Left:  Studio Fix Powder in NC15
Right: Mac Lipstick in Cremecup

Yet more Mac!. I think this powder foundation will come in handy as a normal powder during the Summer when my skin gets really disgusting and oily (bleurgh) and this colour is the perfect nude for my skintone. However, I really do not like the cremesheen textures at all. This is my first one and it doesn't last on my lips for more than half an hour and looks super fake. I wish they made all their lipsticks in the amplifed formula!.

Mac, Veronicas Blush

Left my favourite product for last. I love the Archie's Girl's collection and find it extremely frustrating how all the products (bar the horrid eyeshadow palettes) are constantly sold out so I took a trip to Mac purely in the hope that they would have at least one item from this collection left. And luckily for me they had my favourite piece of the collection!. I just hope now it looks as gorgeous on as the packaging does!

Disclaimer: I don't mean to come off as boasting in anyway, I work full time to be able to afford luxuries and I just like to show you guys what I've been up to beauty wise!

  2. I do use a computer at work though so you may have helped solve the mystery! You wouldn't happen to know of any cheaper but just as fab concealers would you? My pay day isn't for another two weeks and i'm trying at all costs (literally) not to leave myself short? x

    1. Try an origins eye cream, they do pretty well at perking eyes up!

I'd say my all time fave is mac select cover up which is only £13 for a 10ml tube!. If you're on a tighter budget I'd say collection 2000 lasting perfection or maybelline cover stick although they're both super drying

  4. I love the Bobbi Brown corrector. It really does great things! When the BB consultant demoed it on me, she also used the creamy concealer, but I was not too fond of it. I think the corrector works wonderful on me.
