I've decided after a year of not blogging that I'm going to try to get back into it if I can ever find the time!. I've recently become a massive make up hauler and my make up collection is just too beautiful to hide away, so hello!.
Today's blog post will be me nattering on about my everyday make up with mini reviews about just how fabulous they really are!. Bare with me whilst I get used to this blogging stuff....
So these are my main make-up pieces that I can't go a day without!. Although I do have a couple of pieces missing (Primer and Illuminator) just because they're so plain.
First up is my beaaaaaaaautiful Mac Make Up Palette, (Left to right), Honeylust, Corduroy Beauty Marked, Norturnell
I chose these colours because they're all so pretty but yet they can be used with every look!. This is my more 'natural' palette but I'm looking to create a less plain one in the new year. As you probably all know the pigmentation on Mac Eyeshadows are fabulous and this means they're well worth the money you pay for them.
My Nars Laguna Bronzer and Nars Deepthroat Blush are my staple products that I don't think I'd ever replace. Laguna is extremely popular amongst the beauty world and there's a good reason for it. The colour is so natural and yet so pigmented which means you don't have to shove the powder brush into the palette like I find I do with the cheaper Boujour and Rimmel products. Also with the blusher I heard amazing reviews about the colour Orgasm, however it's waaaaay too shimmery for normal day to day wear and I don't want to spend so much money on something that will only ever be used on a night out, so I decided to go with deepthroat as it has a tiny big of shimmer which helps with highlighting and the colour is just so pretty and actually shows up unlike the Mac blushers......
Next onto the mascaras, I've never had such amazing mascaras. I like my eyelashes to be as long and thick as possible and The Benefit, they're real mascara is so unbelievable when it comes to creating thickness were-as the Bobbi Brown Extreme Lengthening is unbelievable at lengthening and the formula reminds me of those crayola spider pens which I also quite enjoy!. Although both these products are more on the expensive side I'd say they were well worth it. Especially as the eyes are the most attractive part of your face!.
Second most attractive part of your face ( in my opinion) is your skin. So what better
foundation to use than Estee Lauder Double Wear. I don't think I need to give much of a review considering how highly everyone else talks about it. It just creates such flawless, pretty skin and with an illuminator it can give you a healthy glow!.
I have pretty bad blemishes on my cheeks which is extremely annoying considering I don't even get spots and these marks appear out of nowhere. Which is why i've had to get a thicker concealor like the Mac Select Cover Up. It's that thick its designed purely for under your foundation because otherwise it creates an unnatural finish on the face which isn't the best look!. But it literally covers everything and brings back the confidence all these pesky blemishes take away. Best thing is a tiny drop can spread a very long way!.
My Powder and Eyeliner are pretty basic as I find they don't really differ from the high end products so I'm not going to rave on about them. But they do their job and save me a bit of money which I always appreciate!.
Finally is the most beautiful product I have ever owned, which is Mac Gold Deposit Skin Mineralize. This whole range from Mac is amazing but This highlighter is just so amazing and blends amazingly into my bronzer and creates a natural glow. I don't think anything I say would do it justice as it's just so pretty and creates the most amazing effect on the cheeks.
So that's my first blog post completed and once my new Mac order and glossybox comes through I'm going to do a new review for you all (I say that like people actually look at this, hah). But I hope you liked my blog and I apologise if my ramblings came off pretentious in any way!.
