The Satchel

I know I'm hardly a fashion guru and all I ever wear are skater dresses or skater skirts with a baggy top however I've been looking for a staple spring/summer piece for the past few months and I think I've finally found it with this mint coloured ASOS satchel which only cost me £28! (bargain).

I always have and always will be someone who loves to wear quite dull colours such as grey and dark red however this Spring I've really fancied giving my outfits a bit more colour without going completely over board and way out of my comfort zone which is why I've picked this as my staple piece. What I love about it is the fact that I can carry on with my boring dress sense and all I need to do to brighten myself up is add this little bag and I'm ready to go!. Also the cute scallop print adds to my "butter wouldn't melt" look that I've tried so hard to keep up over the past couple of years (which is probably why people still think I'm 14). And who doesn't love the convenience of a satchel that rests on your shoulder and carries everything you need without being the size of a suitcase?!

What are your staple pieces for this years spring/summer?
